Feeding Schedule

Thread Starter
Ryan is coming up on 4 months and I have already started cereal. We are up to 2x a day with that. I have added veggies to dinner, remembering to do the same food for 3 days. So far we have had sweet potatoes and carrots. And he is doing an 8 oz bottle every 4 hours.

My question is when do I go to food 3x a day? How much do you give? It has been a while ....

I stumbled across an article the other day while I was looking for info on how much a 3 month old should be eating (drinking). They were talking about a 6 month old and said that at that age a baby usually should be eating about 3 tbsp of iron fortified cereal in the morning and about 1 jar of stage 1 veggies at dinner as well as still taking 24 to 32 oz of formula still over the day. There was no mention of a mid day meal at all.

I cannot remember! Gosh that is bad. But with Abby...she only had breast milk and cereal until she was right round 6 months old. With all the allergies Maddie had I was not taking any chances.
