Pampered Chef

Has anyone ever sold Pampered Chef? I like their stuff, and Dh is the King of Kitchen Gadgets. Apparently they have a special going for the next two months where you get extra goodies if you sign up as a consultant. I was thinking about doing it just so I could get stuff for myself and as gifts and things for Christmas for my family. And if I actually am able to do something with the parties, then fine.

Do they have a certain amount that they want you to do per month/quarter/year?

I haven't sold Pampered Chef, but I'm pretty sure they have minimum sales to remain active. I'm not sure what the consequences of inactivity are though. I'm an Usborne consultant and all you have to do to be removed from inactive status is place an order. I will say that the only way you can actually make real money at any of the party plan companies is by recruiting others to sell under you and then you definitely have to maintain sales to get paid bonuses. If you're happy signing up to get the stuff, then go for it. Just be sure to carefully read the fine print. I'm sure there are some minimum sales you have to meet to "pay" for your kit. If you don't meet them then you will owe Pampered Chef more money. I personally like to do occasional Usborne parties and buy books for my kids. I've resigned myself to the fact that it is not a money-making opportunity for me with my personality.

Yes... and actually this past weekend I contemplated signing up as a consultant. I went to a party Friday night and the woman asked if I would sign up because I was selling her stuff for her... I have almost everything in the catalog and still spent $170 on Friday night!!!

You have to sell at least $200 worth every month (which could be a book party or live show etc) and you will have no prob doing that, the stuff sells itself!!! And you get and earn free stuff etc. You could reall y work it out in your favor.

If I didnt have soccer, swimming, hockey, etc going on- I would do it. I am seriously considering it. Pampered Chef isnt like a candle party or anything, everyone needs kicthen ware and it really does SELL itself.

And if you really like it, and book up alot (whch is great if you stay home with the kids, because you can book shows at night and work 3 hours a night) you can really make a living off of it. It is all up to you and how much work you want to put into it!!

I would recommend it!

I thought it was about $200, but I wasn't sure if that was a month or a quarter. I may call her and at least ask for the info.

$200 a month isnt bad AT ALL - I mean, I was only 1 person at a party and I spent almost that much!!! As long as a party has about 5 people you should have NO PROBLEM Making it!

Let me know how it goes!!! (and I can order from you online and you can have catalog parties and we ALL could order!)
