I sing a lot in the car to try to pass the time and keep Jonathan somewhat engaged. Like I’ll sing Old McDonald and let him choose the animal and make the sound.
Well, here lately ANY time I start singing or turn on the radio, he yells “NO!!!! Jesus Loves Me Song!” I guess there are worse things he could be stuck on, but I’m getting so tied of singing the same thing over and over and over the entire time we’re in the car. Finally last night I told him that he knew it and I wanted him to sing it to me. So he did, which was hilarious! But five minutes later he’s hollering “Jesus Loves Me Song” in the back seat again, so we’re back to Mommy singing it again.
Does your child ever get stuck on one song and doesn’t want to hear anything else?
