New time out place

I think we need to turn Aaron's crib into a bed but this is usually the only place he will stay put for time out. Any suggestions on what else we can do instead of time out or a new way to keep him in time out? We already take away toys or spank his bottom sometimes too but time out is less stressful.

I put both the girls in there room for time out. I just close the door. It doesnt bother me if they play with something or do something in their room. Most of the time they get tiem out for sassin back so its really a break for us from each other to cool off. Kate I leave for just a minute or two not real long and Alyssa comes back out on her own when she's ready.

The only problem is that he will walk right back out just to spite us. It's frustrating.

I had a small hallway that I could section off into a playpen sized area using a baby gate. I used it to contain Chloe when she was either in time out or I needed her out of the way so I could clean.
At 3 yrs old though that probably wouldn't work.

Do you have a highchair with a lap belt?

Not anymore. That little boy is so strong he would knock it over I'm sure. The crib tips when he gets out of it. Scares me to death.
