Preschool titution $850 a month!!

i was making calls last week trying to find a preschool for Raymond in our area, this one school told me it was $850 a month just for 3 days for 2 hours!! i so bad wanted to ask what was the difference between this school and the others.. i couldnt believe it. with that price i might as well just keep him and at home and ill teach him. so i continued calling around, i did find one for $160 a month for 3 days... its based inside the elementary school when he starts Kinder.

Wow! That's expensive. I pay $100.00 a month. Kindergarten tuition is $180.00 a month (for 3 full days) and 1st - 8th is $380.00 a month at the school my DS's are attending.

You've got to be kidding???? TJ's is $180 for 5 mornings or they have 3 mornings for $120/month!

That's OUTRAGEOUS!

Last year I paid $200 a YEAR for Alyssa to go 2 days a week/2 hours and this year for Kindergarten we only pay $600 for the YEAR! (and thats 5 half days)

I only pay $74 for Jesse( 2-2 1/2 hour days), and next year it will be $92 for( 3-2 1/2 hr days).
My kids go to public school so kindy is free and it's full day this year too!

I've NEVER heard of it so high before!! That's crazy!!

I paid $180 a month for Kyler last year. 3 days a week, 4 hours a day.
(We were also required to contribute in other ways as well. Class parent once a month... we supplied all snacks weekly... etc...)

i called back and i had to ask what was the difference between this school and the other preschools in the area.. they said it was a private preschool..??? im like oka.. are these teachers made out of gold or something, i think i might just take him to the elementary school he will be attending.

When we were still in CT, my three went to Goddard (private preschool, but it is a chain) 2 days a week, all day (8-3 basically) and I paid $1400 a month. However, they were certified teachers in every room and they had curriculum. We LOVED that school, but that worked for us.

For just Zach, I pay $204 per week for 3 days. That's just over $800 for a 4 week month. For both kids I'll pay $388 per week for 3 days. Ugh.

the only place i have checked out is 25 for a three hour day so i guess it would be 8 a month

That is crazy! Justin is $130 a week for full time and Ryan will be $140 a week for full time, with a 15% discount for 2 kids. That is still expensive, but $850 for one child???

Ours is $140 a week. About $600 a month for full days, 5 days a week.

Whoa nelly, that's expensive. Aaron's preschool was $65 a month for one day/3 1/2 hours and this year it is $120 a month for two days/ 3 1/2 hours each.
