Am I awful to even consider this?

I bought a round plastic hard pool to use to walk the plank for Brandon's party. I was going to find sharks and fish to put in there. But I have looked at a couple of places, and actually can't find them.

So here is my awful question.... is it terrible to buy about 10 .15 cent goldfish from Pet Smart to put in the pool? Obviously, I wouldn't kill them after the fact, but will keep around the house until they die on there own or give them to kids who want them. I just thought it would be so neat to have real fish in there.

I think it would be cute. And much cheaper than the toys, I'm sure.

Cute idea unless a child falls onto the fish or the plank slips and falls into the pool. That would really be my only worry.
