Orientation

I found out orientation is from 2 - 6 tomorrow. Actually Dh went searching and found the website and info. I knew he was smarter than he lets show!! After searching around and making some phone calls, I found out you find out bus info during orientation. The time sucks because John will be at work and he wanted to go. UGH another thing to add to my to do list tomorrow! Thankfully mom will be in town.

Wow your school starts REAL early!!! How come its so early in August??? Ours starts August 30.

We had orientation on June 5. We do get another meet and greet Aug 28th though since we know the kids teachers this time.

Wow, that's not very nice, all of our Kindy stuff was after 5pm so both parents could attend after work....

Is the orientation really 4 hours long though? Or is it more of an open house?

Oh duh, yeah it is a drop in between that time, not the entire time. Thank god! I couldn't take that!!

They get out here around the end of May so they go back early. Apparently they get longer breaks during the year. I remember not getting out of school until June 10 or so and going back after Labor day. It's crazy!

We have Open House on the 10th .. for 2 kids. They do the times like that to stagger it 2 - 6 for elementary 3 - 7 for middle school and 4 - 8 for high school .. that way if you have 3 kids in 3 different school you can make it to all of them
