Here's the question:
It's hard for me to say. I had no real rules, no curfew, etc, so in that regard I could not be rebellious. However, I did talk back to my parents, which caused a lot of trouble. I also dated more than a few guys that I knew they would not approve of, so I guess in the few ways I could rebel, I did.
In a way I was rebelious but in my opinion it was because my mom's rules for me were a lot more strict than my other siblings. My older sister was a bit of a nerd (a very nice nerd) and was allowed to pretty much do as she pleased because how could she possibly get into trouble. My brothers were extremely rebelious and my mom kind of gave up on making them obey any rules. Me being the middle of the road kid was not really allowed to do anything. My mom had this idea that I could get myself into some serious trouble and was hanging with the wrong crowd. She had no faith in my common sense and self control though. I snuck out just to be able to see friends and a boyfriend she didn't like but didn't drink, do drugs, or break any laws. I think the biggest deal was that she knew I had a sex life as a teenager.
I was always an excellent student/athlete and that kind of thing.
I did smoke and have sex before I was 18 though. For the most part I didn't get in to trouble though or do anything really deadly.
I never snuck out or anything, but I would skip classes here and there. I didn't really drink, but did smoke pot. I would lie about spendnig the night with a girlfriend and stay with my BF. I talked back and lied, the normal growing up things.
Not that my parents knew! LOL! I told them I was going places instead of where I actually was going...joyriding...sleeping at friends houses, but actually with my boyfriend...stuff like that.
