At what age could your baby...

start sitting in a walker or exersaucer? Brenna is getting a horribly misshapen spot on the back of her head although I honestly don't think she lays on it all that often. I'd like to get her sitting up more during the day and she is doing really well holding her head steady when she sits in my lap. She still needs a bit more trunk support than a walker would provide though.

once she has her head control a bit i would put her in the exersaucer with pillows helping hold her up or something

what about a bouncy chair? logan loved his, and it is not lying flat down

Emily didn't really get in her exersaucer until she could sit up, so around six months old.

Before she could sit up on her own, I propped her up a lot using a boppy, though, and
I also put her in her swing and her bouncy seat a lot. She didn't like being on her tummy very much, but I still put her on it a couple of times a day for play time.

She has a bouncy chair which is where she sits most of the time when someone isn't holding her. She's not in the least bit happy on her tummy and will only sit in the swing when she is really sleepy.

Isaiah hated the walker! I hear it also delays walking

I put him in it at around 6 mos when he could have no troubles with his head up.

I never had a walker or an exersaucer. I did prop her up with a boppy though.

We actually bought Ryan an exersaucer this weekend. The boxes all said from 4 months and up. When I put Ryan in it, he leans forward, so I just folded up a blanket and tucked around his belly so he could actually lean back and see things.

Zach was a little over 5 months old when he went in the exersaucer. He LOVED it. We also use the boppy during the day and or bouncy or swing.

The Bumbo would give you somewhere to sit her too.

I think I went out and got one at 5 months because the sitter had him in one and it was awesome. As long as you have the head control it should be great.
