Bumbo Seats?

I've seen these advertised and think they are really cool but I'm wondering if they really work? And if they do, how safe is it to have a baby who couldn't normally hold themselves upright propped up like that?

i was just talking to my sister about these things.. she used one for her daughter and just loved it

she said that if she had it to do over again she would skip the high chair and just get a bumbo and a booster seat

I've heard they're supposed to be great. They're supposed to help with posture and stuff too. I'd definitly like one.

I have seen that before, but my question is the same as yours. How does that help them with trunk control if they don't already have trunk control? Seems like a great item though.

I've never seen one before, but I don't get out much. It looks really cool and easy to keep clean.

I have one for Noah. They have to have good head control to use it. Trunk control, not so much. They sit down (hard to explain) and their legs kind of come up and out. Noah likes to sit and look at his feet. Since they are right in front of him he can grab them.

He's only 3 mos. so for now he's only in it for about 10-15 min at a time. But when he gets older I bet it will be great for eating. I use it often at dinner time and sit him right on the table with us.
