Dress code in grade school?

Does your child's elementary school have a dress code?
Our kids aren't allowed to wear tank tops (unless two fingers can fit on the strap for width), halter tops, belly showing tops (which I am against those anyway) or flip flops. Also they can not have weird colors in their hair. I think that the tank top thing is pretty silly IMO. I mean, 90% of Emma's summer dresses have spaghetti straps or halter style. I understand it for middle school/high school but I think for the Kindergarteners it's kinda silly.
So, do your kids have a dress code?

Haley's going to have to wear a uniform this year. I'm not real excited about that since that means I have to go buy an entirely separate wardrobe for school and she's only 4.

Which reminds me...she starts next Monday and I only have one outfit!! Better get crackin'!

Yes, ours do. What you have, Krista, plus shoes must have heel and toe covered, shorts , skirts, & dresses at or longer than fingertip length. And shirts HAVE to have sleeves - no tanks, no sleeveless.

I make it easier on me and the kids and require solid colored shirts. Tees are OK, but they HAVE to be solid colored. This year I'm bending my pants rule (blue, black or khaki jeans or dress pants/shorts/skirts) and allowing beads and frills and stuff as well.

Mine are in uniforms. Khaki pants/short and navy blue polo with the Bridgewater logo. And for Gym, any kind of sweats or shorts and a Grey BW logoed t-shirt.

Not sure about Ian yet.
