Avatar Issues - Everyone needs to read please!

The avatars and profile pics are out of control. This is a parenting site. I really don't care what body parts are real or fake, or how proud you are of that fact. That is what your personal blogs are for ... not a public parenting forum.

Please be sure that your avatar is appropriate for a parenting site. We're all *mature* adults here, so I don't feel like I need to spell out what is appropriate and what is not. Please take a look at your avatar and if deals with any of the above mentioned subjects, or shows any of the above mentioned subjects, remove it before Monday afternoon.

Beginning at that time, *I* will start removing avatars and profile pictures as they are brought to my attention if I feel they are not appropriate. If you have any question as to whether or not your avatar is appropriate, chances are, it's not. If I remove one avatar, that will serve as a warning to that member. If I have to remove a second avatar for the same member, they will be unable to upload any additional avatars or profile pics.

I can't believe I'm even having to post this, but I'm just tired of the insanity. Thank you for your cooperation.

I still don't see anything wrong with female pride which is all that my avatar is about. I have seen WAY more offensive on her and currently do. But I'll look for another one .. does it have to be strickly about parenting?

I'm not debating this. You're not being singled out, nor did I specifically mention yours. There are several that already have been removed in the past few weeks and more that *will* be removed if they member doesn't take care of them.

Oh I understand Dawn and I don' t think I've been singled out at all .. that was not my intention.. I just honestly do not see anythig wrong with mine .. I will remove it since you asked me .. another member asked, but couldn't/wouldn't explain why it offended her .. I just don't understand and thought somebody could explain to me why a body part that we all have offends somebody .. I figured I could see it in the offensive way .. but it has yet to be explained to me.

And I just don't want to post another one that is offensive since most of mine are not parenting .. I wanted to clarify if they needed to be

Oh and I remember somebody being offended about a naked guys butt once .. but was never asked to remove that one so you can see why I was confused as to why this one would be more offensive. I must just not see it like everbody else does

It has nothing to do with *this one* being more offensive than others. It has to do with people pushing the limits and me putting my foot down. As usual, everyone is affected by a select few.

And "the other member" asked you to remove the avatar in their capacity as a Community Leader looking out for the best interests of BabyU, not because they were personally offended.

Not stirring the pot here but the PM said "I don't know if it was lack of meds or that I feel like crap but it rubbed me the wrong way this morning" .. so I thought she was offended and could offer some insight to what was not ok about it

Now that I look at my av, I see that it could be borderline. I will change it ASAP, and apologize to anyone that it may have offended. Thank you for keeping this a clean board, as it is a parenting website.
I will stick with simple, happy things from now on.

Okay, just to clarify for myself here...
It's okay as long as it isn't nudie pics or anything pertaining to body parts, correct? What about the one that I had up for awhile that said I was the white girl with a ghetto ass..is that one okay? Or nothing like that either? Just want to make sure so I don't get in trouble
