How often did you get your babies picture taken?

Did you do the 3 month, 6, 9 and year?

Or did you do them every month?

Or did you have a differnt way?

Professionally I got my kids taken every month for the first year.

As we can afford it. Kieran so far has had them taken at 7 months, 9 months (but only because we did family ones at the same time) and 1 yr. The older three were just about monthly if not biweekly for about 5, 6 years straight.

It depends on how often dh gets around to it. I don't feel like we got enough pics of Kate as a baby.

Every month? WOW

Professionally I haven't done pics at a place in a while. I just have my SIL do them when i see her. With Brandon and Justin, we did the 3, 6, 9 and year. SIL did Ryan's at 4 months, so I will take him in at 6 months, unless she comes up again. After a year, I kind of slacked. Especially since school did them.

I did them every month and then I put them in one of the school phrames for K-12. It is so awesome to see how they grew each month.

When Emily was 3 months old, we took her to a professional photographer who was really pricey, and the pictures were not that great.
Then we did Wal Mart pictures when she was 7 months old, and went to another photographer just before Christmas for Santa pictures when she was about 10 months old. Then back to Wal Mart at 1 year. Now we pretty much do Wal Mart once a year.

with rhyne I did them WAY too much we had them taken all the time and sometimes 2 or 3 times a month, braylen, I was lucky to get them taken (birth, 1 month -two seperate sittings, I think 6 months? and a year) Elijah still hasn't had any taken yet.....I just haven't had the time to call the picture place and take him down

HEather had hers done at the hospital and we do them with the digital constantly...but no other pro ones yet. We will do some around Turkey Day with Zyrilia and family, not sure how often after that...probably as we can afford it

When Rach was a baby, I had a friend who's daughter was 4 months older, and she was always having her girl's pic taken! I wanted to do that but we were too poor So for Rach it was 8 weeks, 6 months, and 1 year. With Issac and Ethan it was 8 weeks then 1 year.

with raymond we did it every 3 months.. with destiny its been like that too. we just did her 6 months pic but next month were going to do a family pic with our Raiders gear and her cheerleader outfit, halloween and xmas pics. so this year were going to do more. i love jcpenny!!

You know when I did thhese too I had the smile savers program and then I got a 8.99 coupon for a package deal and that is all I got. So it was like $10 a month and shoot I was spening that in film development alone. Maybe I should take a picture of the frame for ya all.

I've only had "professional" pics of Lauren once...at 7 months. We take tons and TONS of digi photos of them. It's a little difficult with living in BFE and getting pics taken professionally so much. We've liked our digital ones so much we really didn't think the professional ones were a priority. Although we might get a family one done this year sometime.....

I have a 5 year smile savers card for penney's and I also use the coupons for $3.99 a sheet, I order 1 8 x 10 of what I like and then I make the rest ( I know, but much cheaper!)

yeah jcpenny has some great deals. i love their photography. i want to go to kiddie candids and they are pricey.. similiar to picture people but cuter

For Isaiah's 1st borthday pics I'm going to The Picture People. it's been my plan since he was born. I love there photography. It's so creative but oh so expensive. I'm really excited to get them done!!!
