Just cannot decide on a baby room decor

I have no idea. I don't really want a "theme" like animals or cartoon type thing. But I cannot make up my mind on colors. Primary, pastel, bold. I am just torn.

How far along were you when you decided?

With alyssa it was decided for me,, with Kate I had decided pretty quick what I wanted and this one I just can't make up my mind.

well considering we've changed ours a couple of time We're finally finalized on Dinosaurs because I couldn't resist the bedding, and Mike thought they were cute too.

I think it was fairly early on ... I just saw a theme and decided that was "it". Of course, I always went with a character of sorts, which made it easier. Jessi was Baby Disney, Cody was Noah's Ark and TJ was Blue Jean Teddy.

well Kev doesn't care what I do. I asked him about the two different ideas I had and he didnt care. But now I have found others i like too. I may just have to take a morning when I have $$ again and hang out browsing around the fabric store til something jumps at me.

with raymond we just did pooh bear.. just because we ended up getting so much stuff of pooh.. destiny she has a butterfly tinkerbell theme. her colors are lavender and mint green. i didnt want anything pink

I thought you were going to do the pink and brown thing? I really liked that.

I used the noahs ark for both my kids. I loved the pattern so much. Plus I didn't have the $$$ to change a theme.

With Zach we did blue and white gingham. I didn't want to go with a real "theme" although I've always loved the Classic Pooh stuff. Noah doesn't even have a crib yet. Zach was in it until last week. Mike is going to move it htis weekend. I am tempted by a really cute Noah's Ark set I saw at BRU.

Are you going to make it Karen? I love those boutique ones with the really puffy bumpers made with the chenille (sp?) type fabric and some toille (sp?). I thought your idea of pink and brown was really nice too. How about Robin's Egg Blue and brown?

Well, we didn’t know what he was until he was born, so I had to go generic with something that would work for a boy or a girl.

I really wanted Pooh. But DH is NOT a Pooh fan at all. So, we were just going to do various cartoon characters, but I couldn’t find anything I liked. (And we were broke, too.)

My mom sent me this thing that her neighbor gave her. It was denim and bears and I thought that was really cute. About that time I saw the Blue Jean Teddy stuff and it just jumped out at me and I fell in love with it. I got a lot of the accessories for my shower. So, as soon as I was able to afford it, I bought the bedding. Then the other little things here and there. He had that in his room until he was almost 3.

The last one I saw that I really liked was a floral print quilt design, and I can’t remember the name of it.
