Back in the Saddle

As most of you know, I just had Eli 1 month ago and I am soooooo ready to get the extra weight off!!

I weighed 151 before I got pregnant (was doing body for life at my gym, I had lost 20 some odd pounds ) and I weighed 169 when I went in to have him, came out weighing only 2 lbs lighter (I lost 10lbs immediately with my 2nd baby), but I got down to 164, and this past week my father in law passed away from an auto accident and I've gained back the 5 lbs!

I have a small goal of losing 10 lbs by October 1st (I have 2 weddings to attend in October and I don't want to look fat!!) my ultimate goal is to get down to the 130's (then dh said I Can get my boob job LOL!!!). I really enjoyed doing body for life, and I liked working out at my gym (until they started screwing me over with the daycare) and since our house flooded I cannot afford to go to the gym anymore. I am hoping when my dd starts preschool on friday (she goes MWF for 2hrs) I can get my friend to watch the boys and I can work out to some new dvd's I got by Jillian Michaels. I really wish I had a weight machine though and a eliptical because those were my favorites at the gym (The treadmill is really hard on my knees and really aggrivates my arthritis in them--too bad though cause my mom has one of those)

Here I am back in the saddle again!!!!! Hopefully since I will no longer be getting pregnant EVER ( ) I will be able to see this goal to completion!!!!!

Good luck, Nicole! I think resistance bands and a fitness ball are good alternatives to weights. Plus they are pretty cheap at Walmart and usually come with instructions on how to use them.
