OK here is my question. The boys have never seen the inside of the new school or met any of the teachers of course there will be a lot of adjustments. So if we take them out of one school like on a Friday and then we keep them out for a week and take them to the new school so they can get a tour, meet the teachers etc then start them on the following Monday will we get in trouble? So they can get used to the new house, maybe meet the bus driver help with adjusting..does this sound like a bad idea what? I need opinions?

I don't think you will get in trouble, we kept our boys out for about a week when we moved.

If it's anything like when we moved, it won't be a problem. We moved between different school systems and she didn't even get a report card the first quarter because they don't share records.

I was hoping someone here has done something like I am thinking. We are just moving to the next town but I would feel more comfortable if they could meet the teacher and tour the school!! Thanks girls..you as always are a HUGE help!
