Does this mean anything?

So, I posted somewhere yesterday that MIL and I thought we had eaten something that had made us sick, and that I had been having diarrhea. Well, MIL never did get THAT sick, and yesterday morning she felt pretty good. Here's what went on with me yesterday.

I had diarrhea off and on all day. I felt funky--just yucky but yet still so hungry that I would get the shakes if I didn't eat. My lower back ached. I had cramps that felt like menstrual cramps most of the day. In addition, I had lots of BH contractions and most of them hurt. I was exhausted. Of course, if I picked up a bug, then a lot of that is understandable.
Last night, I felt so terrible. I was miserable. The diarrhea had stopped, but everytime I got up to walk, I would have painful BH contractions and my lower back was hurting really bad. The cramp like feelings were still going on, too.
So I read in What to Expect When You're Expecting and the diarrhea, cramps, BH contractions, and lower back pain are all symptoms of early labor. It said that all of that with the exception of diarrhea can start up to a month before labor, but diarrhea is usually just before labor starts.
So, should I write it off as a bug or should I talk to my doctor about it tomorrow?

I would mention it to your doctor. How are you feeling now?

I feel better today, and I am sure a lot of that is due to the fact that I FINALLY slept last night! At about 12:30 I was so uncomfortable and so miserable, that I got up and went to the couch. I slept sitting up for about an hour, and then went and got back in the bed and slept great until DH left for work at 5:30. Fell back asleep and slept until 7:00. I never sleep that much or that soundly. BUT I am still having BH contractions when I walk or go down the stairs, but not nearly as strong as last night. I still have the crampiness, too. I don't have diarrhea anymore.
My doctor is so low-key, I doubt he will think anything of it. I am just worried that I will go into labor and not know it. With Emily, my water broke, so it was a no-brainer.

I might just run it by your OB. Drink lots of water and rest if and when possible. I know...they gave me the SAME advice. How do you rest with a TODDLER?

I would mention it and then get plenty of rest, drink lots of water. Maybe that will make the BH go away.

I would talk to the doctor ... you could easily be dehydrated as sick as you've been!

Definitely mention it to your doctor!

I had diarrhea for a week or so(can't remember exactly) before Devon was born. I had just called the doctor to see what I could take, dh went out to get it, and I went into labor while he was gone, lol.

Tara! that sounds like something that would happen to me.
Kim, I know! I try to rest while Emily is at preschool, but I am always afraid to let myself fall asleep because I might not wake up in time to go get her.

Eva, when I was trying to get pregnant through fertility treatments, I was told test on a Thursday. So, I took the day off (silly, I know, but I couldn't stand waiting or the thought of being disappointed and having to go back in the classroom and teach) and tested. The first test showed a very very faint line for positive. So faint, I almost thought I was imagining it. Waited a couple of hours, took another one, and had basically the same result, maybe the line was not quite so faint, but it was still faint. Went to lunch with two girlfriends, showed them the tests, they saw the lines. Still didn't believe it. So, I took another one Friday morning. Another faint positive line. Took all three tests to work, showed them to a few co-workers, all of whom saw the lines and said I was pregnant. Still couldn't believe it. Took a test Saturday afternoon, and finally a fairly decent positive showed up! That was when I started to believe it. Went to see the fertility doctor on Tuesday, had a blood test, and confirmed it. That's how we got Emily. So, what I learned is no matter how faint the line, it's for real.

And I meant to tell you that by that Saturday afternoon, I was 14 days past the day we did the IUI. So that Thursday would have been 12 days past.

Set an alarm? That's what I do if I nap with the younger ones before the older boys get out of school.

Tammy, I didn't mean for this post to go here. I though I started a new thread. I am sorry, this is your thread, and I erased and moved that answer. It really didn't belong here

It's okay, Eva. No big deal at all. I hope you got my responses.

I know, I should do that Tara, but I don't trust myself to not sleep through it. That would be my luck. Usually, I have time to nap after she gets home and she will nap with me, which I love.
