So, I posted somewhere yesterday that MIL and I thought we had eaten something that had made us sick, and that I had been having diarrhea. Well, MIL never did get THAT sick, and yesterday morning she felt pretty good. Here's what went on with me yesterday.
I had diarrhea off and on all day. I felt funky--just yucky but yet still so hungry that I would get the shakes if I didn't eat. My lower back ached. I had cramps that felt like menstrual cramps most of the day. In addition, I had lots of BH contractions and most of them hurt. I was exhausted.
Of course, if I picked up a bug, then a lot of that is understandable.
Last night, I felt so terrible. I was miserable. The diarrhea had stopped, but everytime I got up to walk, I would have painful BH contractions and my lower back was hurting really bad. The cramp like feelings were still going on, too.
So I read in What to Expect When You're Expecting and the diarrhea, cramps, BH contractions, and lower back pain are all symptoms of early labor. It said that all of that with the exception of diarrhea can start up to a month before labor, but diarrhea is usually just before labor starts.
So, should I write it off as a bug or should I talk to my doctor about it tomorrow?

That was when I started to believe it. Went to see the fertility doctor on Tuesday, had a blood test, and confirmed it. That's how we got Emily. So, what I learned is no matter how faint the line, it's for real.
