This one still creeps me out!

There's one Urban Legend that I got a year or two ago and although gross, it didn't bother me. I ran across it again a few weeks ago and it is just driving me insane!

It's the one that includes a picture of a woman's breast and the picture has been altered to make it look like there are some type of larvae that have dug into her nipple. I know it's not real, but I can't get that image out of my head! It just makes me want to claw at my !

I won't post the link because it's just too disturbing, but it's one of the most popular UL's over at Snopes. BLEH!

Actually that can happen. Some types of bugs will bore into human skin and make their nests. I have heard of ants, maggots, spiders and wasps doing this. My dh had I think it was spiders bore into his arm while he was in the field one time. Another guy he knew had ants bore into his ankle all the way to the bone. It is not a common thing here in the US where we don't live that close to nature, but in third world countries where people sleep on the dirt every night, I'm sure it's much more common.

Ewww...

I saw on some medical show where this woman had to have a larvae rmoved form her head. I almost when I saw that.
