So I posted yesterday (I think) about having diarrhea, cramps, lower back pain, painful BH contractions, etc.
Saw the doctor today. He says it's possibly pre-labor. He also said that he would be out of town next week, and so if I go into labor, just go to the hospital and the doctor on call (from his practice) will do the c-section. He also added that, if at all possible, I could just wait until the last week in September when he's back in town.
I thought that was nice. He said he isn't convinced that the baby will wait until October 6 when my c-section is scheduled.
My blood pressure was also high. When the nurse first took it, it was 150/80. My blood pressure is normally around 108-110/70. Last week it was 112/70. So, she took it again after waiting and it was still 130/80. So, Dr. S told me to go home, rest and do as little as possible. This happened when I was pregnant with Emily, and I was put on bed rest for the last few weeks of my pregnancy. On one hand, bed rest sounds great, but on the other it's not practical for me now.
He's not put me on it officially, so hopefully my blood pressure will be better next week.
I also had my Group B strep test today. I had that with Emily, so I expect to be a carrier again.
He also did bloodwork, but I can't remember what for.
The nonstress test went well, too.
