Well, little Carter is holding his own. He is off oxygen and has been breathing well on his own all day today. His body temp is also starting to hold steady. He's having a small prob with learning how to suck properly to eat and a slight hint of jaundice. But the doc said he has definately made good progress already.I got to go see him tonight, and ( maybe I'm a little biased here) he is the most beautiful little thing I've ever seen. 
And my SIL is doing better. She was really upset and miserable, but now she is able to hold Carter and nurse him, it's made a world of difference. And the look on her face when she looked at him. I can't begin to explain what beautiful scene to see her with him....I'm so happy for her I could just burst with it.
