Well, my dh's friend has 4 kids. They have 2 "normal" ones, and then wanted one more, but got twins. SO his wife gets her tubes tied. Last year, she had an ectopic pregnancy, which actually ruptured one of her tubes. They fixed that, and things were fine and normal again.


Believe it of not, she is pregnant again!! 9 weeks along, and the baby is in her uterus.
Her husband is ready to sue someone

Talking about a ligation not working out

The funny thing, when him and dh talked a couple of month ago and dh said he wasn't sure if he really wanted one more, his friend told him to "get me fixed".
That's what he gets

I'm sorry, it's not really funny, but it is.

it is kinda funny actuallly. I guess they were just meant to have another one. At least if the guy get's fixed you can test to see if they are all gone.

actually his friend suggested to dh to get me fixed, for me to get my tubes tied so dh doesn't have to make a decision.

Once that beautiful baby arrives, he'll fall totally in love with it. I can't blame him for taking matters into his own hands though.

Shona - I think the phrase "get her fixed" probably got distorted when DH told me about it. His friend just doesn't seem like that kind of guy. Otherwise it would really bother me, too.

Lenora, my first statement must have come out wrong, as far as I know, he's not thinking about getting himself snipped, but you are right, he should start thinking about it.
