When did your baby sit?

Brenna is in the last week of month 4 and while reading the developmental email I get, I decided to skip forward a few weeks. In just two weeks it says that babies may be able to get into a sitting position from their stomachs! Since she's barely been rolling over well for a few weeks I just don't see that happening with her.

What newsletter is that one? Ryan is 5 1/2 months and has a pretty good "sit-up" from lying on his back. He gets a little help from us and we have a bumbo seat he sits in. Also, he has fun sitting in a laundry basket too!

Emily was about five months old when she could do this.

logan took forever to sit on his own, he wouldn't sit still he kept falling forward and crawling

Kayla was about 6 months old when she finally decided to sit up on her own.

Zach could sit up by hmself when he was 5.5 months but not get into that position until a little later.

That can't be right cuz Isaiah didn't do that until six months just before he started crawling. All babies are different.

Ryan is sitting up, with a few fall overs, but he hasn't been able to bring himself into a sitting position. I can see him trying when he is laying on his back, trying to bring his chest and legs up, but no luck so far.
