Take home outfits

What are you bringing your baby home in? I'm trying to decide. I have it narrowed down a little bit to two outfits.

One and two

I'm thinking warm may be better than frilly since it will be the first week of January.

I showed dh and he really liked the pink one too, so I think that's what I'll get. Now, I have to find something special for dd for that day or she'll be jealous.

I like the pink one, too!
Warm is always a good bet in January. I dressed Emily in a two piece very girly pink outfit to come home in.
As for Travis, I have two outfits.
One is for his first picture. It's a University of Alabama t-shirt and diaper cover and booties. I don't think that will be warm enough to come home in, so I have picked a cute little two piece outfit for him. It's blue and the shirt is cotton, but it looks sort of like a football jersey.

I love them both, and to me they each look like they'd be warm.

Aw, they are both so cute!

I think they’re both cute, but I love the pink one.

Since we didn’t know what Jonathan was going to be, I took two outfits. One for a girl and one for a boy. His was a one piece that snapped up the front. It was a blue and white print with little tuxedo tucks on the front top. It was lightweight, but I took two blankets. We ended up having 70+ degree weather that week, which was unusually warm for Ohio in January. So, it worked out fine.

I like the pink overalls. So cute. I always opt for one piece things in the beginning especially since my kids have all turned out to be long and skinny. Plus the one pieces are easier on their umbilical cords.

Congrats on girl #2 BTW!

We talked about it a little bit and decided to go with the pink because a) we both liked it better and b) the other one looks a little Christmasy and this baby will always probably have issues with having a birthday so close to Christmas - at least my mother and my mil do. They are both New Years babies and I've never heard the end of how awful it is to have a birthday so close to Christmas. Like we parents choose their birthdays.
