Couple of questions

Hi ladies. It's been 6 weeks since Randy was born and I'm doing pretty well. I just had a few questions for those of you who have children. My episiotimy site is still very sore. I can't sit flat on my bottom and if I stand for a long period of time, I feel a lot of pain in the area of my vaginal opening. It kind of feels bruised, like I got kicked or something. Anyone else experience this kind of thing?? I am also still occasionally experiencing a gush of fluid, it isn't red or anything, and most of the time it is white, like the discharge you get while your pregnant. I know it isn't urine, but I'm just wondering if maybe this is something I should ask the doc about tomorrow. My husband and I also have already had sex, and it wasn't as bad as I had thought it would be, but I can't be on top because it really really hurts, like the skin is stretching and I feel like I'm going to rip or something, is this normal? Sorry for all the questions, but this is my first baby, and all of this is new to me. Thanks all for any replies you could offer me.

Thanks,
Angie

I remember having some of the same problems and even feeling as though everything was going to fall out if I stood to long. I also had an episiodomy and I remember some dumbing sensation for the longest time. I had my son in 2002 and can tell you not now of course but up until I had my periods I had some pain on my pelvic floor. I have been doing keagle exercises and they do help.

I would still bring it up to your doctor and see what they say....Good Luck and let us know because I will be going through this again real soon....
