Lauren tries to help... and she's getting better at each task. She's a GREAT assistant.... she brings bottles (from the table), binkies, blankets, diapers and burp cloths for Ryan, she will dance around and entertain him (my favorite b/c they are ALL giggling), she brings me the remote now w/o a fight (I started praising her instead of saying "NO" and it worked!
)
I'm sure she will be a great little helper as she grows up.

Nate loves to help! He helps me with the laundry (put in and take out of dryer and also will put dirty clothes in washer for me). He "helps" with the dishes... helps by picking up his toys (as long as Jacob's not around)

Ian, helps keep the living room tidy, picking up his toys and anyone elses, he picks up the books, and put things in the trash fo rme, loves to help with the dishes and the laundry ( but i won't let him. LOL It's easier to do it myself once rather than twice!) He gets me diapers and wipes when I need them. He will help as long as his brothers aren't around. He will also help put the outside toys away as well.

Ummmm… Kinda sorta not really. It’s one of the things that we’re trying desperately to work on with his condition. He has certain things that he always cleans up when he’s through with them. Then we have others that he needs to be reminded about. You can’t just tell him to pick up his toys, or expect him to remember to pick them up each time when he's through with them. You have to name each one and tell him to take it to the toy box. Or tell him to put the lid on each marker individually. Although if you start to do something (like pick up his letter magnets) he will start doing exactly what you're doing and then he'll want you to stop because he can do it by himself. He’s getting better about this. But we have a long ways to go. Sometimes I will ask him to help me with something, like carrying in a bad from the car, or taking something to the kitchen for me. He is pretty good about that. We make a really big deal out of it when he does something for us, and tell him what a good helper he is. He likes that.
