Starting to get annoyed

I'm trying to get my dd signed up for the sibling class at the hospital which is next Monday. Unfortunately, it's the only one before the baby is born. I've called several times and no one seems to know anything about it. I've left messages with the community projects manager, but have received no response.

So I called my dr's office and guess what? They aren't answering the phone. Do you just show up for this stuff? Has anyone taken their kid to one of these classes? Do they charge? Should I bring my insurance card? How do I know if my dd is even signed up if they don't call me back?

Heck ... I'd just show up if nobody will call you back! I'm sure there's some department at the hospital in charge of it. Is there a hospital tour for expectant parents? If so, I'd say they were the people you need to talk to!

I keep calling and asking to talk to that person and they send me to the community projects person who is obviously seldom there. I was told how great this class was, but it's not looking good for my dd going to it at this point.

I'd call the baby area of the hospital and talk to someone there.

I diidn't take Lys cause I don't think she was old enough. ( I think she had to be 4) I have heard good things about it though.

If you can't get a hold of anyone I'd just show up. I think ours is like $10 or $20 and we had to bring a baby and a blankt.

Whoo hooo! Glad you got her signed up! I just took a tour of where I am delivering last week cause we have a new hospitla since Kate was born.

Our hospital offered all those type classes too. I hope she enjoys it. We took a couple of classes for us (one included a tour) one was for newborn care, and the last one I'm taking is information about epidurals. I couldn't believe how many different ones they had for kids for sibling classes though.
