I blame Dr. Seuss…

A few weeks ago, Jonathan started having this problem with sitting on the cat. He will sit on the cat and will not get up. You have to drag him away. (And the cat comes back for more, but that’s a different problem…)

Anyhow… On a side note, he really loves the book Hop on Pop. We don’t have the book, but he’s always saying “Hop on Pop” every time we go past a book or video display in a store. I’ve looked for it, but haven’t found it.

Yesterday, I went to his IEP meeting at the school. He sat down and was reading his book and then I hear him yell “PAT. CAT. Pat sat on Cat. No. No. Don’t do that!”

Now I know where he’s getting this from.

Poor kitty… It’s all Dr. Seuss’s fault.

Here it is - http://www.amazon.com/Hop-Pop-Beginn...e=UTF8&s=books

My dd has this book. I think I got it from Children's Book of the Month Club before I cancelled my subscription. She has several Dr. Seuss books. I'm trying to collect them all, but there are an awful lot of them!

I could have sworn that I had this book. I just don't know what happened to it. But I guess I need to go back and read it to make sure he's not going to get any ideas for anything else. He keeps eyeing Chester every time we read The Cat in the Hat. I might be in for trouble!

I know we used to have that book, and I bet if I looked through boxes, I'd find a copy of the video, too.
