Last minute costume help

I got Jonathan a dalmatian costume at the Salvation Army thrift store this weekend. But I need to dress it up a little. It’s just a basic one piece fleece pajama type thing that zips up the front, but it has spots with a hood with ears. (No tail) He probably won’t let me paint his face (or he’ll wipe it off), so I’m wondering if I could make him some kind of dog collar/name tag type thing and laminate it at work and either pin it to his costume or hang it on a lanyard or something.

Any other ideas?

Making a dog tag sounds like a cute idea - would he like to help make one? And if anything else maybe a tail. Or just leave it like it is and I'm sure everyone will know he's a doggie.

Let's see.

You could add a tail.
Get him a bright red leather "collar" (a red vinyl belt from the local thrift would work - just cut to fit). You could dangle a tag of some sort from the buckle.
