Not dressing up??

So what about all the kids that didn't bother to dress up???? I was just shocked this year. There were SO many, especially the older ones that didn't bother dressing up and just showed up with pillow cases. Heck ... a few even rode their bikes right up my driveway to where I was handing out the candy!

I don't care if you are 20 ... if you dress up, I'll give you candy. But I HATE giving it out to those that don't even bother!

I saw a few of those too. At least cut a couple of holes in an old sheet and throw it over your head. There were some college guys taking their buddy from Mali who had never ToTed before around. He was around 20, but he was dressed up as a cowboy (but dh said scarecrow). At any rate, he was a little embarassed, but he was having a great time. If a 20 year old guy from another country who has never heard of Halloween can dress up...

I had a few of those and I gave them one sucker! The one girl actually did the "ugh" thing. I hate that so much! At least they could do is make some sort of effort.

Shoot... If I could get by with dressing up, I'd do it myself. It's the one day a year you have an excuse to be somebody other than yourself. It's doesn't take that much effort to do SOMETHING...

Some effort would be good. I didn't see as many this year that were.t dressed up as i have in years past.

We go to my mom's house for Halloween and if I'm the one passing out candy, I will not give it to anyone that is not in a costume. You need to at least put forth an ounce of effort! My mom thinks I'm too harsh and they try their best to keep me from having to hand out candy.
