Jonathan is making progress in school. We just had his parent/teacher conference and IEP meeting. He is excelling academically. He is reading very well and tries to sound out words that he doesn’t recognize by sight. Still working on the social skills. Daycare is going OK. They have a field trip today to the local university for a Kids Free Fun Day. They did this in the summer and he had a blast.
His grandparents are coming to visit on the 20th, so I’m sure he’ll enjoy that for a week.
His latest interest is Play-Doh/clay. I am really happy that he’s getting over some of his texture aversions, but I have play-doh EVERYWHERE!

DH called me in the office last night and said “Look at this!” He had made a whole scene from Veggie Tales out of Play Doh.

He is starting to try new foods. Loves Hot Pocket (or any cheap version of it). We can’t get him to eat pepperoni on pizza, or ham, or any meat except chicken, really. But if you put it in a hot pocket, he’ll scarf it down!

I need to schedule a check-up for him with our family doctor.
