Due date wrong?

Has anyone ever had their due date miscalculated? I am bigger than I was when dd was born (3 weeks late) and I still have two months to go. I'm wondering if my due date is correct.

I suppose it could be possible, especally if AF wasn't really regular for you. I'd think you could be off even 2 weeks and that would make you farther/bigger then last time.

Since I don't really know cause this is my first pregnancy, isn't it possible you just feel bigger or even get bigger faster the second time Maybe I don't have a clue either though

I could have stretched more easily this time or this baby could be bigger, but it's other people coming up to me telling me they think I'm about to pop that got me to thinking about it.

Yep. With Lauren my calculated EDD was 11/9/2004. My ultrasound EDD was 10/31/04. I had to be induced, so she was here 10/26/04.

With Ryan, at week 35 I measured full term (40 weeks). I tried everything to get them to induce me, but FINALLY at week 37, 4 days they induced me! WOO HOO!

You will be bigger with subsequent pregnancies.

They tried telling me with Cedric I wasn't as far a long as I thought I was. They wanted to push his due date back two weeks, but I fought not to. I tested positive before I was 4 weeks, so if they were right, due to the ultrasound, I wan't even pregnant when they tested me.
For me, Cedric just happened to be a small baby, he was only 5 pounds 6 ounces when he was born, but very healthy.
Maybe you are just really bigger this time, or you just feel bigger.

I have the opposite problem, everyone tells me I look so small I must not be as far along as I think. I'm sure you're just carrying different this time.

Yeah well.. If one more person asks me if I'm having twins I may just sit down right where I am wherever I am and cry!

I'm bigger this time around too.

Shona, you are working on number 5......that uterus will never be the same .I was huge with Jake and Jesse. I felt huge, I looked huge,.....it's a sad fact....once you've stretched it it loses tone. Then the second baby decides to use that little extra room to stretch it some more. By the time you get to number five you probably could fit your 5 year old in there(the uterus it's self that is) with little trouble , though I wouldn't want to try it.
As for the due date being wrong, since you have had two ultrasounds, I doubt if the date is that far off. If you are measuring way big or way small they will usually keep an eye on things. I new Jake was going to be bigger, not because I felt bigger but because he felt bigger inside, and I was right....Jake weighed 1lb 1oz more then Josh.....Jesse felt huge from the start...I felt him moving at 13 weeks and by 16 weeks I new he was gonna be a huge baby. He was induced almost 4 weeks early and weighed 7lb 12oz.....My dr said he would have probably gained another 2 lbs or more in those last 4 weeks had he went full term.....that would have made him 9lbs 12 ozs However with both Jake and Jesse we new way ahead of time they were measuing big. With Jess he was measuing at 3lbs at around 24 weeks...and my uterus measured at least 3-4 weeks ahead at all my visits, but his development was right on track for all other interuterine growth factors, and I knew EXACTLY when I concieved with all three boys so I new my due dates were right.

I was told the wrong due date. I was told that my angel would be here Jan. 1, 2007. I went in for a u/s last week and they told me that my baby is not due Jan. 1. He is due Dec. 9. That does not give us much time to get ready.
