Whose getting ready for baby with me? Bags packed? Nursery decorated and organized? Clothes washed? Etc?

I've been working on this, but it's a slow process. There is so much to do. We only have a small apartment, so a lot of reorganizing and putting things in storage needs to happen. Today, I am working on organizing my closet to make room for another person. I packed Cara's bag today, but I have not packed my bag yet. I'm trying to remember what all I wanted last time that I didn't have with me before.

Oh throw Cara's things in the same case as you. Make it easy for DH since he has to remember that luggage.

I don't see why he would since the whole thing is scheduled. Last time, he had to bring me all these extra things and I didn't have room for all the stuff the hospital gave me.

Well he does have to carry it.

What are you doing with Kate while you are in?

Clothes need to be washed, bassinet needs to be set up in our room as we don't have a nursery since our kids occupy the extra rooms we have, and I'll pack when we're getting ready to go. The only things I'll take are toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, clothes for me and a couple outfits for the baby, baby wipes, camera and film. Those don't need to be packed beforehand.

My main worry now is that I'll be in the hospital having this baby on Christmas Eve. How will we handle Santa? Will he leave the kids' presents at our house or at the house they're staying at? Plus I don't want to be away from my kids that night or Christmas Day but I guess what happens happens and we'll handle it accordingly. If the baby is born already then DH can go home and handle the rest but if I'm in labor he won't be leaving me.

I should say that if something happens and we have to rush to the hospital without me able to get things together, they have there what I'll need while birthing this baby. And then DH can get the things I need/want after the baby is born.

I'm worried about being in the hospital on Christmas too...but I don't have anyone to worry about at home.

I have the bassinet set up in the little room, with the rocking chair.
His nursery is "almost" organized, we're finishing the stenciling tomorrow
I haven't even started washing clothes I finally bought free and clear detergent though
I'm trying to figure out what I need in my bag for myself and him.

Her aunt and uncle are coming up to take care of her. Dh is a big boy. He can handle it. It's not like I am packing like Paris Hilton. It'll only be two small carry on bags and a boppy. Last time, I just took one carry on bag and it was way too small. We ended up with all these grocery bags of stuff and it was a real hassle. This time, I am packing with room to spare.

I have things washed.

No bed set up, no bag packed and nothing else is ready. I refuse to have this child anytime soon (she has to give me at least 3 more weeks) and that should give me plenty of time.
