Do you have an overstock of diapers and wipes?

With Elizabeth I bought maybe one pack of diapers before she was born. I knew I would have a baby shower and hoped someone would buy them and they did. I got about 5 packs of diapers at the shower.

With this one I have already bought 9 packs of diapers...I have a total of 800 wipes. I don't think I will be having a baby shower with this baby.

So have you already started buying diapers and wipes?

I have 2 packs of wipes, I think about 300 wipes total. I have 2 packs of diapers, I think one is a 0 and the other is a 1. I haven't a clue how much of anything I should have. I'm stocking up on wipes now when I grocery shop but I don't know about diapers because I'm afraid to buy a bunch of any one size/brand incase they don't fit well or he has a reaction to one brand.

I have one box of wipes (but I still use them on Kate so they will probably be gone by the time Payton is here) and 1 pack of 56 diapers - I think they are size 1 - I got them from my parents. Other than that I havent gotten anything yet.. I need to clean up her room first.

Since I have 2 in diapers, I look for the best deal on wipes. I LOVE the Huggies wipes. So.... Wally World has the BIG box for like $8.88 and then I usually can find a $1 or 1.50 off coupon, so it's a decent deal. I have like 2 1/2 cases on hand. I'm so lame....

Oh yeah, and with diapers, I went REALLY light on the small sizes. They out grow them SOOOOO fast. I NEVER bought newborn diapers. The smallest I bought were the Pampers Swaddlers size 1-2. I went easy on those too b/c he was in 3's in no time. Well, of course, when my kiddos were born they were bowling ball size!

I have wipes, but I don't have diapers yet. I'll probably only buy one pack before the baby is born. Diapers are one thing I can send dh out for and be sure he gets the right thing.

I buy the Parent's Choice brand wipes...the case of 6 refills is about $7, so I always get those. Definitely get some packs of 1's and 2 diapers.

With the first one, I don't think I had a clue how many diapers and wipes I would go through, but by the second one I did and got really stocked up.

Since we have one still in diapers, we keep wipes made (we make our own) and buy supplies for them when we're getting low. We shop once a week and buy diapers then so we won't be stocking up but will have a pack of newborn and 1s by the time the baby is born. If we find that the baby doesn't need the newborn size we'll just take them and exchange them for a bigger size. But even with my big babies they've all used newborn for probably a month or so. And the hospital will send you home with diapers and wipes so you can have someone run out and get some once you get home in case you don't get any beforehand.

I still have yet to pay for diapers for Eli I bought over 40 packs when CVS had a great promo going last year, I only actually 'paid' for 9 of those packs, the others were free. If you buy too many of one size and they outgrow them you can always return them for another size (I have already traded in my newborns for size 2's, I skipped size one in the trade because I already had 8 packs) and now that eli is growing out of size one, I have 4 packs to return to get size 3's. This has lasted me through braylen and eli so far. I just started buying diapers in size 4 for braylen in august. (I didn't stock in size 4's because Rhyne never reached size 4)
And as for wipes, I have over 30 tubs of wipes, I got them this summer when the $2/2 peelies came out, only paid .36 cents each for them, I also have 8 travel wipes and 9 of the softpacks of wipes.

I don't think I will ever have to buy wipes again I got a great deal on LUVS diapers, there was $3/1 coupons that came out in the paper and Buehler's had them on sale for $7.46, so $4.47 isn't too bad for diapers! I stocked up on 3's with that.

Oh, and lets not even get into bath and body stuff, I have a closet full that I don't think I will ever use, but instead will probably go into baby shower baskets.

I don't have any bath stuff yet..or diaper creme. There's too much stuff to remember and I have to make sure I budget everything too
