Need advice NOW!!

I need to know what its like to have your water break.
i was sitting on the couch with my husband watching tv, and i felt like dribble down there. like i was having a mini pee session or something. so i went to the bathroom and checked and my underwear was wet (a little). i cleaned up and went to the kitchen to do dishes and i felt more dribbling out. so i went to the bathroom and there was more waterish looking thing in my underwear. its clear and i dont know what to think of it. i need help! i called my MIL and she thinks its my water breaking and thinks i should wait 30 minutes before i go in. and my girlfriend thinks the same too. but i have no idea.
HELP!!!

hmm It sounds like it definitely could be. I'd just go in to L&D now if I were you. Once your water breaks things should start moving and you are due today. At least call your OB right away and see what they say.

It is very easy to get an infection if your water has broken. You should definitely go to L&D to get it checked. It only takes a second-they have you lay down and they place a test strip on your 'area' while they have you cough. Then the strip tells them if it is amniotic fluid or not. I am guessing that it is. Once your water has broken you should go right into L&D because of possible infection. They will most likely not send you home either if that is the case so go packed and ready!

I say GOOOO! Start heading now!!

My water broke with my first, but it wasn't the dribble everyone talks about. I sat down on the couch and it felt like I sat on a water balloon!!

I would for sure say go to the hospital now! Sure sounds like your water. If not better safe then sorry!
You would hate to ignore then all of a sudden have the urge to push!!

GO NOW. (It sounds like a slow leak to me!) Why wait....it's a MUCH higher risk of infection, which is a MAJOR risk to the baby. GO NOW. What's the worst that can happen? They say NO and send you home?

Even if it is your water breaking there is no need ot go wightt his moment. Coming from someone who had her water break 4 times so far, I kinda.. understand. THough the ladies are right, you shouldn't wait too long. Most doctors will tell you it's fine to wait til you are at least having some contractions.
The first time my water broke, I called the doc and he told me to get done whatever i needed done, laundry,e tc and then come in. At least you were atr home. My first time I wasn't LOL

HOWEVER, you should go in ( contractions or not) Before it's been 6 hours since your water broke.

Also, if it smells kinda sweet and not like urine, more thank likely it's broken.

My water broke in a gush, and there was no doubt what had happened. I had to go right in because I was Strep B positive, and my contractions started almost immediately anyway.
I hope you went in to be checked. Keep us posted.

I was going to say that you should put on a pad and if you soak a pad in less than an hour then you should go it because more than likely it was your water breaking.........but I think I'm a little bit late
