Keep your grubby little paws off of me!

This is my 3rd pregnancy and I am so fed up with people touching me! I can't remember it happening before. Maybe I didn't care.

First it was my dad today - and thats ok - its my dad and I don't see him too much and it was just a quick how's it going.

THEN the MIL from he.. stops by cause they are taking the girls who knows where (and wants me to just go home and go to bed and not worry about them - they'll bring them home ) first touches my cheeks and tells me how warm I am (well crack lady we have had a sickie in our house for a few weeks that we are trying to beat out - I was sick all last week and am somewhat happy to just be able to breathe right now!)

then she decides to touch my shelf (aka my huge baby bump) and rub and linger there - TAKE YOUR FRIGGIN HANDS OFF ME! while balbbering on to me about Kev at home resting on the couch.

I am not in the mood to be touched - by anyone. Heck even the girls have gotten chewed out for hanging on me and sitting too close. I just want MY SPACE!

As a side note - I did enjoy cuddling up with Kate in her bed last night!

Thankfully no one has tried to touch my belly without asking. I think I've only had 2 people ask and they were family. Someone would get slapped if they touched me without asking.

Well - dad is dad and I don't mind him (and if I told him I didn't want it I know he'd understand)

But even Becky yesterday walked up to me and unsnapped my jacket to "have a look"

I just may hide out until she is born if people don't leave me alone.

I KNOW I am bigger than with either of the other two (heck I am pushing 200 pounds I am the one who has to step on the scale each week) I also know that I am carring lower with her than I did with the other two - which maybe is why I feel like a cow!

But Keep your paws off of me! PLEASE!
Ok other than Miss Kate who walks up to me and lifts my shirt and kisses & hugs my belly and then says "baby coming" That is too sweet to pass up.

Well I don't think I will be able to get that way before this baby is born. Maybe next time though

When I was preggo with DS, one of the sales guys in my office came up to me and reached for my belly - I hauled off and slapped him, HARD! Boy was he surprised! Later, one of the girls asked if she could touch, and I let her - she decided to start a piggy bank for the baby, and put in a quarter any time I let her touch belly. She was young, newly married, and desperate to have a baby, so I was giving her a "baby fix" - at least she asked each time, and didn't get mad when I said "not today".

I understand about the personal space thing. We need to get you a t-shirt that says "I am NOT Buddha - don't rub my belly".

I've seen some of those shirts. I really considered buying one for myself
