How was YOUR Thanksgiving?

Mine was very quiet. Didn't get to go see my family cause I am sick (cough, cough). Sent Rick and the kids to his parents house. I stayed home and enjoyed the peace and quiet. I think I could get used to this! LOL! But Rick did bring me home 2 FULL plates of food - his mom is worried I won't eat! Not a problem! 3 kinds of turkey, broccoli cheese cassarole, corn, lima beans, black eyed peas, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, lemon pound cake and chocolate cake - all for me!

So, how was your day?

Hey, you are allowed to stuff yourself! Take advantage of it while you can! LOL!

We will get the Xmas decorations out this weekend and get started on the outside of the house. Probably do the tree next weekend. Maybe. We'll see how I'm feeling.

Not what I thought it would be. We are sick, too. Emily and Kyle are on the tail end of it, and Travis is getting better, I hope. I came down with pink eye today. So, Thanksgiving was moved from my house to Kyle's uncle's house. Travis and I stayed home, and my wonderful friend Rhonda came over, brought me much needed medicine for my eye and kept me company. Tonight my heart is full of thanks for her and her friendship and kindness.

Well I thought is was going to be a total disaster. I hadn't talked to my grandma in forever and she missed me and got over it.

There were 12 people including my dad his wife my four, bill and my oma and opa and my Uncle and his wife and one of their sons.

The food wasn't as good as where we usually go but it was family and we all got along. I am thankful for that.

It went well... No major fights, and the mess wasn't in my house to clean up!

It was okay. I shouldn't have started the day talking to my sister who asked me why I called and was busy throwing away her kids' toys because they weren't cleaning their rooms. I may look like our mother, but she acts like her. Then I had some MS problems that put me in a mood which will hopefully clear up in the next few days.
