bubble bath

I've been totally paranoid about taking baths while pregnant because I'm afraid of making it too hot.

Some tell me I'm not going to brain damage him if I take a bath so I can relax and enjoy it. I do like them pretty warm and I know the rule of thumb about red skin, I just need to hear it again

Also at this point it's not going to send me into labor or anything is it? I'm dying for a bubble bath but I think he should stay put another week or so.

Go take a bath woman! You obviously know you can't scald yourself with hot water and you shouldn't stay in a overly warm bath for too long because you don't want to raise your body temperature.
There is no reason though that you can't go enjoy a nice warm bubble bath... it does wonders for an achy back and feet and takes some of the pressure and discomfort off your ribs for a little while.

I agree with Elaine. Those Warm baths really help out those last few weeks, though PLEASE be sure Mike or your mom (heh) Is there to help you out of the tub. Do not rely on the towel rod or anything, you don't want to fall.

ya I got in the tub and then when I was ready to get out I knew I couldn't get myself out. The funny part is where our bathroom is you really have to yell so that someone in the living room can hear you. I musta hollered for Mike for about 5 min before he finally came and helped me up.

Oh, yes! A bath is a great way to relax toward the end!

My doctor sent home a pamphlet thing that said baths were fine, but not to stay in a hot tub (spa/jacuzzi) for an extended period of time.
