pushing time - Page 2

With Desiree I pushed for a little over 3 hrs, I was told with her that they would only let me push the 3 hrs then if nothing was progressing I would need c-section. Good thing she was coming down.

With Moses it was different I never fully dialated to 10, I got stuck at 9+ with a little cervics left and baby was stuck at -2 station for 3 hrs, he never budged even with hard pushing during the contraction. That's why the Dr finally went with the section. And you now what is so odd that with Moses I had that URGE to push with Desiree I never did.

No meds either time.

I was told by one of the Nurses with Desiree that I had a small palvic area and that's why it was so hard to get her out. She was 7lbs and Moses was 8lbs and 11.24 oz, no wonder I couldn't even get him to get past -2 station.

This may be kind of late, but with Randy, I pushed about an hour. He was 8 lbs. 7 oz. and I didn't have an epidural. My doc said I pushed like an old pro LOL.
