Book clubs

I joined Groilier Books and now I am having trouble cancelling my membership. I found another book club which is cheaper and that I love. I want to get rid of this one, but they keep telling me that i have no bought the required number of books. Has anyone else had a problem with them?

Yup -- they kept sending me books for months .. and bills of course. I just refused to pay them and they eventually stopped.

I think I will buy one more set since it is one I actually want, then start refusing them. That is how I got Columbia House to leave me alone. Most companies don't like paying all those extra mailing costs.

I guess I was lucky - I joined Groiler and had no problem cancelling. I mailed them a letter explaining that I was cancelling and why, pointed out their policy on cancelling and never heard from them again.

Good luck cancelling, Grace!!

I had a bit of a problem too. We ;moved and they were trying to bill me for books I never received. I refused to pay them, and told them so. I have not received anything since.

What is the other book company you are going through????
