Please help Moms with both genders ???

Her urine seems to be more pungent SP? than my son's was at her age? Could be female/male thing???

I don't think she has an UTI, no fever or any other sign.

has she been eating well? I was thinking that sometime urine is pretty pungent smelling when it's concentrated from dehydration. I would think even a small dip in hydration in a baby could make a difference

I hope someone has a real answer for you.

There's not been any difference between my boys' or girls' urine that I can recall. Are you using a different formula?

Could depend on the formulas. If you are concerned just phone your Ped and run it by them. They might suggest additional fluids or somthing else.

Different formula and different diaper. Tomorrow I'm going to change her diaper and call her Doc just to be sure still no other signs. I have pack of diapers I'm going to return and try the huggies ultratrim instead and see what happens.

Well not that this really applies but female cat urine is much more pungent than the males'.

I have not noticed a difference in Travis's urine as compared to Emily's. And he is on formula and she was breastfed. I would probably call the pediatrician just in case.
