I walked into the bathroom this morning and my 5 year old was sitting on the floor rubbing my deodorant on his feet!
I asked him what he was doing and he just kept saying "because I want to". After a while it came out that in PE on Friday when he took his tennis shoes off, another kid said his feet stunk and apparently he was embarassed about it. Poor kid... I didn't think a 5 year old had the self esteem issues that something like that would matter. I mean come on, if he farts he laughs about.
I had to tell him that we would buy spray for his shoes but that he couldn't put my deodorant on his feet anymore.
