UGH! He won't let me put him down. Yesterday he started to scream, we did everything and he just wasn't happy. Since then I can't put him down. i'm typing one handed

I thought it might be gas, since there were only 2 poopy diapers yesterday. He's had one this morning. Poor guy, its the only thing I can think of. I just want to eat lunch with both my hands.

Is he burping all the air out after each feeding? Make sure to burp him 1/2 way through the feedings. Try to keep him sitting up a bit after each feeding too incase he maybe is getting a bit of reflux? Can you try gas drops or gripe water (do you all even have that down there.....if not, I can always send you some )

He is on formula right? I was also told a warm towel laid on his belly will keep his belly from expanding with air. The Milicon drops didn't do much for my guys. I tried the gripe water also. It was actually sold at my grocery store. With Brandon I got a prescription gas drop cos nothing worked for him.

Also, at the age he is, that is pretty normal though. It was just about when I couldn't take it any longer that the boys finally were able to be put down. He has had a heck of a shock from going to your nice, warm, dark, quiet womb to this crazy world we all live in. Poor kid should be crying! LOL

I put less formula into his bottles today and he seems to be feeling better. Only 2 oz instead of trying to fill them with 3 or 4 oz. He's eating every 2 hours. He still doesn't want to be put down today but he seems to be feeling better. He hasn't had another poopy diaper yet today though

My baby is notorious for being fine until I want to eat and then despairately howling to be held. It's like they know somehow. Do you have a swing or a bouncy seat he likes? At my house, I have two other full time entertaineers to keep the baby occupied so I can eat. With my first, I do remember a year or two of one handed eating, typing etc.

I remember Jaedyn would kinda twist her head back and forth, I always tried the burp first and then she would sleep on me and when I put her down she would cry. She's finally getting to where she will play but still will twist around a little when she's fussy....

I then know it's swing time!!!LOL 7-8 pm seems to be around that time ha ha..

We are just getting back to where we can eat meals with both hands!

You'll soon be able to hold and feed Gabe with one hand and eat with the other!
