Yep, you guessed it. I'm pregnant AGAIN!! Randy isn't even 5 months old yet, but I took a pregnancy test last night and got an almost immediate positive!! This time, I had implantation bleeding. It occured around Jan 5 or 6th, I went to the bathroom like twice and had a tiny bit of bleeding each time and then it stopped. I thought it was because I was b/f and that my periods are just still screwed up. I guess not!!!! I am guessing I'm about 5 weeks along, I'm just hoping it's a girl this time! It's a little scary having them this close together though. I'm happy and sad and scared all at once.

See ya all later,
Angie

Thanks ladies. Especially you Shona, it is good to know that I'm not the only one who got pregnant so quickly after having my first. This one, we did all on our own too!! With Randy, I had to take glucophage because of my PCOS. I'm just not sure how my OBGYN is going to react when I call to make an appointment because I'm pregnant again!!! I'm betting his jaw will hit the floor lol. What about b/f...can I continue on even though I'm pregnant again? Will I be watched closer this time because of my preterm labor and other issues I had with my first? I'm also scared to death because of my postpartum hemorrhage with Randy. I'm not scared at all of giving birth anymore at least. That part was actually not that bad (not as bad as I had thought it was going to be) Well ladies, I should get going. Thank you all again.

5 weeks pregnant with number 2

I know a lot of women breastfeed during their pregnancies. I couldn't, so I have no idea. You will probably be watched a little closer this time, I was watched a little closer when I was pregnant the second time, but nothing major really. I can't help you with the concern about the hemorrhaging either, mine went perfect both times, except that I almost had to have George deliver Logan. lol.

Congratulations! I know lots of women who continued breastfeeding through a pregnancy. My one concern would be that nipple stimulation can bring on contractions in the last trimester. I would talk to your doctor since you've previously had preterm labor and see what he advises.

Thank you all for the congrats. I'm still trying to get super excited about another pregnancy. My first pregnancy wasn't bad, I just had some issues after the 28th week. I called the prenatal clinic today to make an appointment and the secretary remembered me lol!! She asked my LMP date and I told her, but I know that is not accurate, I had implantation bleeding sometime during the first week of January, and I also took like 6 pregnancy tests between December 11 and January 1st. I just decided to take one more since I was starting to throw up and not feel like myself. Last night I looked at girls clothes at Wal-Mart and that helped get me a little excited. I really do want a girl, but I'll love another boy just the same. In fact, I'm happy I had a boy first because he is such a little joy and I love him to no end.
Well I have my first appointment on Monday, so we'll just see how it goes. Wish me lots of luck ladies. I have a feeling that my doctor is going to be pleasantly surprised when he sees me again LOL. Take care everyone.
