Hello,

I would like to share my story and have a place to go when things get tough, difficult, and even want to share the good things. I guess the best place to start is the beginning.

I met a man. That man is expecting his first child in March with his ex. We fell in love. That’s about all there is to say about the beginning. After a few rough moments with the ex, it’s established that I am here to stay. I’m going to be a part of this child’s life and the ex as well. She and I have talked A GREAT LEGENTH and in a perfect world I would disappear, she’s come to terms that I am here to stay. Overall we have a decent relationship and his life has been made a little easier by this. There is no great drama (this week anyway) and with out the baby being here yet, we are living our lives status quo. I do hear, from them both, how amazingly supportive I have been and I can assure you, I intend to maintain that support. I will however, not walk away. I am here for the long haul – I hope to be here for eternity with three mature adults loving and supporting this little girl that has three hearts wrapped around her unborn finger.

I guess that’s about it for now. I’m glad to have found this site and support.

I am Shona, a SAHM To four little boys and another one on the way. George and I have been married for a little over 8 yrs. We are in South Carolina, But George is originally from VA.

I think it's wonderful you can all be mature about the situation and I hope for the best for all of you.

Just jump right in, I'm sure you'll love it here. I've been a member for five and a half years and I love it.

Welcome, Panda! I'm a SAHM of one here in northern VA. DH's work transferred him here in summer 2005 - prior to that, I was a lifetime Californian.

That was a beutiful post! I too am part of a blended family. I hope in the future you stay as strong as you are now and as supportive of your little one. It is tough at times, but I love your attitude.
