That's a cool tool. but my cycles don;t run the same each month So that makes it hard to use.

Anyone have luck with the predictor kits?

Oh poo! Sorry ...

I used the predictor kits to get pregnant with Jessi and got pregnant the first (maybe second) month of trying. Can't beat those odds!

I had Kate using an OPK.

Well even if you're cycles aren't the same every month Day 1 is the first day of red blood during AF. I'd suggest trying the OPK, I tried the spit one and never saw the ferning I was supposed to but I know some women really liked that version.

My cycles were never the same every month either, they always vary by 3-5 days. So we just started to have every other day to cover the most amount of days

Try fertilityfriend.com
If nothing else, you can chart your cycles and learn about cervical mucus and all that kind of good stuff.
I learned a lot there, and maybe you even see a pattern emerge. If you want to use the OPK, use your shortes cycle, and start about 17 days before AF is due. (so on a 28day cycle, you would start day 11). You might use more sticks, but you'll cover your fertile days.
But once you know a little about your cervical mucus, you can pinpoint the days to use the OPK more precisely.

Good luck

I never had to worry about any of that.....I can always "feel" when I ovulate....and damn it hurts some months

I wish we could BD every other day, but we can't as I am in ATL and Clint is in NC until he finds a job down here. I'll be picking up the OPK (pee on the stick kind as a recommendation from a friend who was in a study for them, and they apparently work better than the spit ones). I am trying to make sure that the weekends we see each other could be "productive"

Thankfully Clint is supportive of the idea of us finding out when my cycles fall. I chart everything out on my google calendar, as I have a private one just for tracking my period an other health issues.

So ready for a baby...

Do you take your temp every morning? I started temping and charting before I got pregnant with Livia.

For me checking for cervical mucus worked best. That's how I got pregnant this time.

I have a basil therm I need to have Clint bring down with him this weekend when he comes to visit.

Just hard... picking up OPK's today, if I get out of the house.

I temped every morning and then charted them on fertility friend's website. I know they changed over to charging for services, I'm not sure if you can chart for free still or not. But I found that to be really accurate. HTHs.

I just signed up for fertility friend. I think it's too late to start charting this cycle, but I am going to try it next cycle. My cycles are irregular so it's been really hard for me to figure out exactly when I am ovulating.
