The 25-year-old military wife convicted of throwing a cup of ice into a car that cut her off on Interstate 95 in Virginia has been sentenced to probation.

Jessica Hall of Jacksonville, N.C. has been in jail for more than a month since her bond was revoked.

A jury in Stafford County, Va., had recommended that the mother of three serve two years in prison, but the judge noted Wednesday that Hall has no criminal record and placed her on probation for the felony conviction.

What a CROCK! Yes, she's guilty of road rage. Yes, I could see her being convicted of misdemeanor vandalism or destruction of property ... however ... this was the most ridiculous case I've seen in a long time. How could a judge even let this go to trial??? How could a jury actually convinct her?? I don't think there's anything that could be said or done to convince me to find this woman guilty of "Launching a Missle".

THIS is what is wrong with our legal system .... and the woman spent a month in jail, with her husband serving in Iraq and the kids having to stay with relatives.

Oh ... and even though it was dropped to probation, she STILL has a felony conviction on her record for the rest of her life. That is so ridiculous!

I think that a felony conviction for this is really a bit much! She should appeal it!

I agree that the felony conviction is a bit much. Maybe the judge should have just given her some community service and six months probation.

Wow - unbelievable. At least she is out now.

That is VERY ridiculous!!! Why waste money in the court system for something as stupid as that??

I felt so sorry for her. It sounded like she was really at the end of her rope. I'm glad the judge reduced that ridiculous sentence.
