OK heres whats going on I live in Armenia and my son is formula fed he is about to turn 1 and the milk here is no good. I havent talked to the ped here yet about it because I know she is just going to tell me to fill him up with juices and rice cereals and things like that and I dont think thats right. The pharmacist said to keep him on formula. However I heard that was bad for the child. So I was told to boil the milk they have here and give him that. Is this true?

Hmm I know there used to be formula for toddlers, you could try that.

My husband grew up in another country and he said they boiled the milk all the time. He said bring it to a boil then let it cool for a few minutes. He said to skim the top off(he said it's like cream and some people use it on bread but he thinks it gross), and then store it cooled(refrigerate it).

Maybe this link will help..
