My dad is leaving

Well we had an argument today. Instead of trying to talk about it he just decided to move out. That's how he's always been and I knew it would happen sooner or later. He thinks he knows everything about everything. It was about me and school, I tried to explain about taking the placement tests and of course I'm wrong. He's never taken them how would he know.

I could be a brain surgeon and he would tell me how to perform surgery. It drives me nuts and when you call him out on it he goes off because I don't know what I'm talking about. So he called a friend who's coming to help him take his stuff tonight (even though there's supposed to be a blizzard).

So we'll see how long it takes him to even talk to me again. Of course now we expected him to pay the utility bill this month so we're SOL right now about that since Mike is home on workman's comp. But I guess we'll deal.

I'm sorry honey. Maybe it's for the best though and I am sure that he will talk to you again soon. Men are just so damn hard headed.

ya supposedly he's moving to Minnesota now too. I'm just sick and tired of it. He's always been a "leaver" if there is ever a problem his solution is to leave, even when I was a kid he was like that. I'm just so frustrated and mad. I know it's not my fault but part of me still feels guilty.

Well he didn't leave last night because he couldn't get ahold of his friend. He hid in the basement the entire evening and didn't even eat dinner, because it was "our" food. He's being so mature about this. He hasn't said a single word to me this morning even when I said good morning, he just grunted. I'm so annoyed that he's being like this. I should have known better and not let myself get attached.
