well he left

So my dad left today. His friend came in the blizzard and helped him take his essentials, including a mattress.

I tried to talk to him this morning and all he did was grunt. He made a big point of giving back the keys and stuff. When he was leaving he made sure before he left to "apologize" for being a "burden". He's being so childish. I'm just annoyed that I thought he would act different then that.

My mom called him to see if he was even going to bother coming to Gabe's baptism on Sunday and I guess he is but it's going to be weird. I would be really ticked if he didn't show up but on the other hand I know he's not going to apologize or anything so it will be awkward.

I'm sad he left this way but I'm not sad he's gone. I finally have my house to myself for the first time since we moved in. He was supposed to be here helping us out with Gabe and stuff and 2 days ago I was in the shower and he walked right past Mike struggling to get Gabe's diaper change, HELLO HE KNEW MIKE HAD SURGERY!

I should just stop thinking about it, it just makes me angrier. It annoys me that my dad is the childish one in this relationship.
