...at least, it was a neat thing to see in an obituary.
A young soldier from my hometown was killed a couple of weeks ago. His body just arrived home yesterday. The obit in the paper today said:
“In lieu of flowers, the family requests that everyone write a letter to a soldier to let them know how much their sacrifice means.”
I thought that was kind of a neat idea. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
